![]() Jude Marston, LCSW-C. A founding partner of The Chrysalis Group, Jude has devoted over 25 years to counseling and coaching adults and adolescents in creating and sustaining fulfilling and authentic lives. In a world that's become increasingly complex, her mission is simple: to guide people who want to transform - in their work lives, in relationships, or within - bringing more of their best to every present moment. Jude particularly enjoys helping people discover ways to break out of limiting habitual thoughts that cause unnecessary pain. By aligning insight with action, her clients find concrete yet mindful ways to create personal freedom and lasting changes. Since 1986, Jude has also served as a director of Operation Extinguish, a program for youth involved in deviant fire-related activity, provided in partnership with Montgomery County's Department of Fire and Rescue Services. She is a licensed clinical social worker, a certified Enneagram Teacher in the Narrative Tradition, and a certified Cultural Transformational Tools® consultant. Jude is a member of the International Coaching Federation and Greater Washington Clinical Social Work Society. She earned a BA and a BS from George Mason University, and a graduate degree from The Catholic University of America, where she currently is a part-time faculty member at the NCSSS graduate program. ![]() Judy Wendkos Liss, LCSW-C provides individual psychotherapy to tweens, adolescents and adults. She helps her clients with a variety of issues such as transition issues, depression, anxiety, anger management, social skills, and identity development. In addition to her regular practice areas, she has developed specialized counseling services for children and families coping with food allergies and Celiac Disease. Judy uses her vast clinical and personal experience to provide therapy not only to children coping with food allergies and Celiac but also to many parents of children who want a therapist who understands the stresses and nuances of raising a child with food allergies and/or Celiac Disease. She is also the lead clinician for the Operation Extinguish Program, conducting intake evaluations and psychoeducational groups with juveniles involved in fire-related incidents and their families. Judy has worked in a wide variety of settings including schools, residential treatment facilities, and community mental health centers. Judy's clients and their families appreciate her attentiveness to details and her warm and nurturing personality. She encourages a collaborative process in therapy to help her clients identify the stressors and behaviors that cause distress in their lives. Judy enlists clients' personal strengths to help them problem-solve and build successful and supportive relationships. Judy earned her MSW in 2002 from the Smith College School for Social Work. She has also received post-graduate training in cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychotherapy with adolescents and young adults. She graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis in 1997 where she majored in Spanish and International Studies. ![]() Jessie Vinik, LGPC specializes in counseling adolescents and adults. She brings experience from a variety of settings, including residential treatment facilities, outpatient substance abuse programs, and community mental health centers as well as private practice and NIMH research on the predictors of antipsychotic drug response. Jessie's expertise includes helping clients cope with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and grief; enhancing social skills and improving body image and self confidence. She views therapy as a collaborative process that builds on clients' strengths to solve problems and achieve positive change. Clients benefit from her guidance in translating insight into action. Her intelligence, warmth, and deep caring are just a few of the qualities that they value in their work with her. Jessie earned an MS in Clinical Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and a BA from Tufts University in Clinical Psychology. She is board eligible as a National Certified Counselor and a member of the American Counseling Association. |
![]() John Marston, Ph.D. Dr. Marston is a consultant, educator, and facilitator with over 30 years of professional experience. He applies insights from action learning, vocational renewal, and advocacy to help clients solve complex problems, manage conflicts, and reach new levels of understanding. For the past 15 years, John has been an adjunct professor for graduate programs at the University of Virginia, the George Washington University, and currently with the Johns Hopkins University. He has presented at a broad range of conferences and led professional development workshops in vocational renewal and various topics in the education field. John has advanced training in mediation and restorative justice and cognitive coaching. His experience spans both public and private institutions as a special education principal and teacher, and as an Administrator of Alternative School Programs and Character Education with the Fairfax County Public Schools. Dr. Marston is a facilitator with the Center for Courage and Renewal, known for Courage to Teach® and Circles of Trust®, and holds an Action Learning Certificate.
